Microdermabrasion Facial Treatment at Salons and Spas

Estheticians at spas or salons, such as Ziba Skin Care in Westwood, can perform many different facial treatment options.  Clients have different skin type or skin issues, making personalized options necessary.  The classic and most popular facial treatment is the European facial at Ziba Skin Care.  This might include massaging, cleansing, toning, and moisturizing the skin with lotions, creams, peels, masks, and other products.  For clients with specific skin needs, such as acne, anti-aging, and dryness, estheticians can use different products and procedures to help these needs.
Ziba Skin Care in Westwood also offers advanced facial treatments to rejuvenate the skin.  One type of advanced facial treatment is microdermabrasion.  This is a popular skin treatment that reduces visible skin flaws, cleans clogged pores, and results in overall smoother skin.  Microdermabrasion is conducted using an exfoliation tool to remove the outer layer of dead skins cells with diamonds or crystals.  Moisturizers and other products are then applied to the new exposed layer of skin.  Because these products are not applied to dead skin cells, they are absorbed into the skin more effectively.  The body then replaces the outer layer of skin with new, healthy cells that look and feel smoother.

Ultrasonic treatments are another facial procedure offered by Ziba Skin Care that may be used in combination with European facials.  These treatments penetrate sound waves deep into the skin to improve cellular metabolism, boost collagen production, and create better skin tone, texture, and clarity.  Just like with microdermabrasion procedures, ultrasonic facial treatments permit skin products to be better absorbed into the skin.
Ziba Skin Care offers another type of advanced facial treatment, called high frequency treatment.  A mechanical device is used near the skin to convert oxygen to ozone, which has a germicidal and drying effect.  High frequency treatments heal and clear the skin, and may be added to traditional facial procedures at some spas and salons.

A variety of facial treatments exist at quality salons and spas, such as Ziba Skin Care in Westwood.  Advanced procedures, such as microdermabrasion, greatly help to improve skin condition.  The esthetician at Ziba Skin Care will evaluate your skin needs and problems, and appropriate facial treatments will be offered.
